The app now offers a new feature that allows users to record and track their emotions in the food journal, whether or not it is associated with a meal.

Additionally, the app provides a range of useful resources:

 <li>Therapeutic strategies tailored to specific difficulties experienced, such as binge episodes, restriction, and vomiting</li>

 <li>A follow-up section that summarizes progress and goals</li>
 <li>Real-time gathering and visualization of various data points, including meals, binge episodes, body mass index, physical exercise, and mood</li>

All the information recorded within the app is strictly confidential and will remain on your phone. However, you can choose to share this information with your clinician if desired.

The "Blue Buddy" app has been developed by a team of medical professionals, including doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, and individuals who have personally dealt with eating disorders. The development took place at the Specialist Centre for Eating Disorders at "Sainte Anne Hospital" in Paris, France.

This application has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the "Therapeutic Education" prize at the Innovations In Health Challenge 2016.
